Studio: Laundry
Role: Lead Illustrator / Animator

I was super excited when Laundry gave me full reign to conceptualize, illustrate and animate this project for the Christmas of 2019. We went in head first where the only prompts to follow were to make it colorful, wild and psychedelic. I wanted to create different characters associated with Christmas and twist the designs of how they would normally be perceived. This internal project for the studio was started and fully completed within just a little over a week. I designed all the bright colored characters in two days, and cel animated the characters in five days. This amazing project also could not have been possible without the beautiful graphic illustrations of Yoojin Seol, the typography and elegant compositing of Michelle Grepo, another cel animator Stephanie Simpson, and of course the psychedlic vision and creative direction of Jayson Whitmore.
